Our hospital, located in the heart of Swabi, has served as a cornerstone of healthcare excellence in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province for years. As a well-reputed and established private healthcare facility, we pride ourselves on bridging the gap between high-end surgical expertise and the local community’s needs. Our facility is not merely a building with beds; it is a center for healing where we prioritize patient dignity and clinical outcomes above all else.
We understand that for a General Surgeon, the environment is just as important as the equipment. That is why we have invested in modern operating theaters, reliable sterilization units, and a dedicated nursing team trained specifically to assist in complex surgical procedures. Our hospital operates with a mission to reduce the burden on major city hospitals in Peshawar or Islamabad by providing top-tier emergency and elective surgical services right here in Swabi. By joining our team, you are not just taking a job—you are becoming a vital part of a mission to elevate healthcare standards in the region.

The position of General Surgeon at our facility is designed for a clinician who is confident in their hands and dedicated in their heart. We are looking for an individual who has transitioned from the rigorous training of the College of Physicians and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) and is ready to take full clinical ownership of the surgical department.
This role requires a high degree of surgical autonomy. While you will be supported by a team of medical officers and paramedical staff, the primary responsibility for surgical decision-making and operative precision lies with you. The hospital handles a diverse patient load, ranging from routine appendectomies and cholecystectomies to more complex trauma cases resulting from accidents on the nearby highways. This variety ensures that your clinical skills remain sharp and that no two days are the same.
We maintain a strict vetting process to ensure our patients receive the best possible care. To be eligible for this role, candidates must meet the following:
Educational Excellence: You must hold an MBBS from a recognized university and have completed your postgraduate residency in General Surgery. We are accepting applications from both FCPS-qualified surgeons and those who have successfully completed their 4-year FCPS training and are awaiting their final results or diploma.
Regulatory Compliance: A valid, active, and updated registration with the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC) or PMDC is mandatory. We value legal and ethical compliance; therefore, candidates with any pending disciplinary actions will not be considered.
Surgical Competency: You should be able to demonstrate a track record of performing independent surgeries. This includes, but is not limited to, laparotomies, hernia repairs, mastectomy, and emergency trauma management.
Soft Skills: Surgery is as much about communication as it is about cutting. We require a surgeon who can explain complex procedures to family members in simple terms and lead a ward team with authority and kindness.

The responsibilities of our General Surgeon extend beyond the Operating Room (OR). The selected candidate will be expected to:
Lead the Surgical Unit: You will be the primary authority on all surgical cases, supervising the pre-operative workup and ensuring that every patient is fit for anesthesia.
Emergency Management: Swabi is a busy hub. You must be prepared to handle acute emergencies, including peritonitis, intestinal obstructions, and blunt force trauma, often at short notice.
Out-Patient Department (OPD): You will conduct regular OPD clinics to consult with new patients, provide diagnoses, and schedule elective procedures.
Ward Supervision: Daily rounds are a must. You will monitor post-operative patients to manage pain, check for infections, and ensure a smooth recovery process.
On-Call Residency: Since we provide 24/7 emergency cover, the surgeon is required to reside on the premises (accommodation provided) to be available for life-saving interventions after hours.
We believe in rewarding our doctors fairly for their high-stress work and commitment. Our package for the General Surgeon position is structured as follows:
Base Salary: We offer a monthly salary ranging from Rs 70,000 to Rs 150,000. This is negotiable based on your specific experience level and whether you have completed your FCPS Part-II.
Residential Facility: To facilitate our “on-call” requirement, we provide free, high-quality on-site accommodation. This eliminates the stress of commuting and allows you to live in a secure, professional environment.
Professional Growth: We encourage long-term associations. For surgeons who stay with us, we offer annual increments and support for continuing medical education (CME).
Supportive Environment: Unlike large, bureaucratic government hospitals, our private setting allows for faster decision-making and a more personal relationship with the management.

Swabi is one of the most vibrant and strategically located districts in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. For a professional moving from another city, Swabi offers a unique blend of tradition and modern connectivity.
Connectivity: Swabi is perfectly situated near the M1 Motorway, making it only an hour’s drive from both Islamabad and Peshawar. This allows for easy weekend travel to major metropolitan hubs.
Education Hub: Known as the “Land of GIK” (Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute), Swabi has a high literacy rate and a culture that deeply respects professional degrees and medical experts.
Landscape: Surrounded by the Indus and Kabul rivers and home to the majestic Tarbela Dam, the natural beauty of the area provides a peaceful environment for doctors to unwind after a long day in surgery.
Community: People in Swabi are known for their hospitality and deep respect for “Doctors.” You will find that being a surgeon here brings a level of social prestige and community trust that is hard to find in larger cities.
Many job postings look the same, but our hospital offers something different: Clinical Freedom. We do not micromanage our surgeons. Once we trust your skills, you have the autonomy to build the surgical department according to international best practices. Whether you want to introduce new laparoscopic techniques or improve wound-care protocols, the management will support your vision.
To apply, please submit your CV with a clear mention of your PMDC number. Our hiring process is straightforward:
Initial Screening: We review your CV for qualification and PMDC validity.
Clinical Discussion: A phone or Zoom call to discuss your surgical experience.
On-Site Visit: You will be invited to the hospital in Swabi to see the facilities, view your accommodation, and finalize the contract.
